PENNSYLVANIA SPORTS BETTING & PA ONLINE BETTING APP LAUNCHES

Pennsylvania is the seventh largest country to officially start accepting sports bets and the fourth country to start online sports betting.
There are now eight retail sportsbooks in Pennsylvania, including six in the Philadelphia sports gambling market . There are also three PA online betting apps as well.
PA ONLINE SPORTS BETTING FINALLY UNDERWAY
After months of endless and waiting delays, there are online apps in Pennsylvania.
SugarHouse Sportsbook was the first Pennsylvania online sportsbook launching on May 31, 2019.
Next to go live was Parx Sportsbook on June 24, followed by Bet Rivers one day later on June 25. Both passed the testing stage and became fully operational on June 27.
The rollout of the programs is not simultaneous. Instead, operators may start whenever each is about to submit to PGCB and receive testing underway. The expectation is that by soccer season there’ll be five or six programs for bettors to pick from.
It seems like, at least for now, that there isn’t going to be a simple solution for users. Apple app shop is breaking down on app submissions. As a result, most US programs that are controlled are having trouble getting listed. Thus far, no PA programs have a successful iOS/iPhone solution.
When an upgrade to Apple app store guidelines rolled out on June 3, those issues got worse. The brand new rule gives real-money online casino apps until Sept. 3 to completely convert the program to the native iOS platform.
Given that most online gambling programs are coded in HTML 5, the conversion procedure is difficult. It will probably have a year for casino programs to fully convert.
